The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ) is the umbrella organisation representing the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim community across Europe. As a UK-registered charity, CoEJ provides strategic leadership, guidance, and support to its member Jamaats, fostering unity, growth, and sustainability across generations.
Rooted in the path of Wilayah, CoEJ is committed to building prosperous and faith-driven communities. Our work spans a wide range of areas, including education, youth empowerment, religious guidance, health and wellbeing, women's leadership, economic development, and social justice. Through a structured network of Boards, Initiatives, Councillors, and Delegates, CoEJ collaborates with local Jamaats across the UK, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, and beyond.

Facilitates spiritually enriching pilgrimage experiences, supports French-speaking pilgrims, and ensures access to resources and guidance.

Engages with national bodies, protects the community’s legal and social interests, and develops media, legal, and security frameworks.
