The European Madaris Department (EMD) has been established under the Islamic Board of CoEJ to provide strategic direction, development of teachers, fill capability gaps, provide structured feedback on curriculum and cross collaboration for Madaris across Europe. At the heart of EMD's mission is the goal to build a connected, capable, and confident network of Madaris that not only deliver Islamic knowledge but also nurture the spiritual and ethical growth of our children. EMD will work in partnership with Madaris leadership, teachers, parents and community stakeholders to understand local needs, exchange best practices and drive up the standards of Islamic education across the region.
A regional conference is tentatively being planned. The aim is to bring together madrasah leaders for consultation, networking and joint planning.
In collaboration with QARI and the European Madaris Department, we are pleased to offer a Qur’an Teacher Training programme designed to help Qur’an teachers enhance their recitation skills and teaching effectiveness.
